Fleet

Unique Charters operates three helicopters which can accommodate the many different approvals that are covered by our Air Operators Certificate. With bases located in Launceston and Bridport, we are equipped across the fleet for a range of services including general charter and scenic flights, remote area transfers, aerial spotting and survey, photography and filming, external load and over-water operations.

Our aircraft are all equipped with First-Aid kits and Emergency Locator Transmitters/Personal Locator Beacons (ELT/PLB).

Eurocopter EC130

The EC130 is our premium, multi role aircraft available for Charter and Aerial Work. Powered by a turbine engine, and featuring the ‘Fenestron’ enclosed tail rotor design for increased safety and a reduction in noise impact.

Featuring 6 passenger seats in a spacious air-conditioned cabin, Bose A20 noise cancelling headsets, multiple baggage compartments for luggage, tools or golf clubs, USB A and C charging ports, large cabin windows and a rear sliding door making it perfect for everything from scenic flights to aerial photography or survey work.

Robinson R44

The Robinson R44 is the world’s best-selling light helicopter. With 3 passenger seats in an air-conditioned cabin, everyone gets a window seat. Powered by a Lycoming 6-cylinder piston engine and featuring emergency pop-out floats; one of the requirements for over water flights. The R44 is a great aircraft for scenic flights and aerial work.

Our R44 is equipped with a cargo hook for external load operations (slinging) for loads up to 250kg, making it a budget friendly option for smaller projects.

Bell 505

The Bell 505 is a modernised version of the trusted Bell 206 series (Jetranger /Longranger).

Powered by a turbine engine, with an upgraded avionics suite, Bose A20 noise cancelling headsets, air-conditioning, 4 passenger seats and pop-out floats; one of the requirements for over water flights. With already generous cargo space, we also have the ability to quickly remove the rear seats to create a large area for transporting cargo in the cabin.
